This stand-up desk was commissioned by a local attorney. It is constructed of red oak and detailed Bubinga. The footrest has oak ends and stretchers of Bubinga. It has 2 drawers constructed of solid oak which are 21" deep slide on oak rails and features dovetails joinery The desk lid opens for additional storage. It has a lower shelf for book storage. No veneers or plywood is ever used. It has a hand rubbed finish. They say Thomas Jefferson was the first person to commission a stand up desk. These desks are
recommended for individuals that
have bad backs and cannot sit all day.

This is our newest desk design the seat is a replica of the desk. This was desgined for smaller areas, the seat slides under the desk so no aditional space is needed.
This Secretary Desk was
commissioned by a local woman
who wanted to use her treadle
sewing machine base. The woman
wanted a piece that would not
take up to much room in her home
but still had functionality. The
drop leaf lets her use this piece as
her letter writing desk. She
stores important correspondence
in the cabinet, it also has pigeon
holes to sort out mail.
